I tend to not charge a fixed fee, choosing rather to receive a sensibly agreed weekly contribution towards the cost of my practice overheads.  I function in this way to ensure that anyone who is in need of my services is not restricted by financial circumstances.
 
Most people are very realistic, and in many cases very generous, in what they financially contribute. As a guide, it may be helpful to say that most counsellors' fees start at around £40 as a minimum payment per session with concessions to those with limited financial resources or those training  to become counsellors.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions required will vary according to any individual client's situation or needs. Some people use my services to deal just with one issue over a relatively short period such as six to ten sessions others desire to look at who they are and how they function in more depth over a period of months or in some cases years. Each session will be for one hour and will be subject to regular reviews where together we can assess the best way forward.
